The smell is so pleasant and it does smell expensive. Very hard to describe the smell, it's not sweet or floral or earthy. It's a light smell but the oil is quite concentrated and in my small 120ml diffuser at work I only use 1-2 drops. I've all but abandoned my other oils at home.

This aromatherapy oil makes a huge impact on home crafts with just a few drops. The scent is rich and very robust without smelling fake or musky like some synthetic aromas, making it perfect for my candles and melts, even for beard oils for my husband. The included dropper makes it easy to measure and add to waxes, balms, and oils, the oil itself mixing in well without discoloring the product--we've personally found that it smells more vibrant in carrier oil than it does in wax. As an added bonus, the dark colored bottle keeps the oil fresh and safe from light degradation.

I have loved the scent of Patchouli for decades and had to give this one a try with the additional scents of Pomelo, Musk, Tonka Bean, and Amber. As soon as I got it, I had to quickly open it to take a whiff and oh how lovely it is! I love that the Patchouli is present but not overpowering. While it is a favorite of mine, it can make me react with sneezing on its own. Amber and Musk are other favorites of mine which made me happy to see in this blend.
